Nice hamper, although it ought to be for the price. It arrived in a large box to avoid folding it, so there was no need to stuff it full to try and get the creases out and have it stand properly on its own. I ordered this toy box in the green color. It’s more of a sage green, and not as vibrant as the green advertised. In some lighting, it even looks gray. At first, I thought I had been sent the wrong color. Customer service was very responsive and helpful, and sent another to correct the color issue, however the new box is the exact same color. The box was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. It holds a decent amount of toys for the size! It had a weird, slightly unpleasant smell for the first week or so but it seems to have disappeared!. Some evenings the blanket goes back where it belongs. Most evenings it doesn't. The Ludmila half oval was made for the second kind. Drop the throws in, set the lid on top, and the living room looks settled again — no folding, no arranging, no one seeing the pile inside. The flat back sits flush against the wall, so it slips beside the sofa or into the gap by the washer without stealing floor you wanted to keep. Inside the weave, a full iron frame holds the shape year after year, load after load. And the water hyacinth is real, hand-woven in Vietnam — warm, a little golden in daylight, softer to look at than anything moulded from plastic. 16.9" x 13.8" x 20.5", tall enough for a week of laundry or an armful of throws. Blankets by the sofa. Towels in the bath. Laundry in the bedroom. Toys in the nursery. Lid closed, and the room is done. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Natural fibre may arrive with a faint grassy scent that fades within a few days in a ventilated room. For indoor use.

Absolutely love this hamper! It’s light to carry and so ideal against a wall and takes up less space. It is made well, which I wasn’t so sure about at first, and seems it will hold up well. The lid is attached so it’s easy to keep it all together while taking out laundry. I just wish it had a better way to take the whole bag out when needing to carry laundry without un-tieing bag the whole time.. Ladybug. Miller Place, NY. Sun Oct 04 2026
