After searching several high end stores for end tables and not finding what we wanted, we found these. They were the simple style we wanted, perfect dimensions and the stain color was also what we wanted. They arrived on time and were easy to assemble, with one exception. There were no pre drilled holes in the legs where the bottom shelf attached to the legs with four screws. We struggled with the first table, barely getting the screws in without stripping them. Just finished assembling both of them and they look great! Not sure why they are called "narrow" when they are square! Easy directions, even for a 60+ year old woman. My only disappointment is the artificial textured "grain" that is on the topside and legs, but the underside was left smooth and I like that look a lot better. This was extremely easy to put together, huge plus. The package came earlier than expected, so I had to make arrangements for someone to collect it as I was not in town. My one issues was the smell, oh my- this was ROUGH. I’m unsure if it was the chemicals, the packaging, I do not know. But it took about two weeks for the major smell to go away- and that’s with using active charcoal packages, baking soda, vinegar- you name it. The smell is still slightly there when I open the drawers where I continue to keep the active charcoal pouches. Outside of that, I am truly happy with the entry table. It was exactly what I was looking for and the ease of putting it together took less than 20 minutes. It took longer to take it out of the packaging. I bought this to match the end tables that I bought last year. I loved the style and an extra bonus for me is that the iRobot can fit underneath it so I don't have to vacuum under it. The previous sofa table that I had also had a bottom shelf, and I kept some things on it that I would prefer to have hidden from sight (binoculars, doggie paw wipes, cover for sofa) since I wanted those things near our back door (where the sofa table sits.) Now I keep those things in the drawer so that they are out of sight, but still readily available for use. It was easy to put together. My husband and I are in our 70s, but we were able to put it together in just about 1.5 to 2 hours.
