Bring the character of historic New Orleans architecture home with the Bourbon Street Hanging Copper Lantern from Flambeaux Lighting. Handcrafted in Louisiana, each lantern reflects the traditional copper craftsmanship and architectural influence that have long defined the city’s distinctive character. Every piece is cut, soldered, and finished by hand, creating an authentic look that mass-produced lighting cannot replicate. The beauty of copper is in its ability to evolve. Over time, the material develops a natural patina that adds depth, warmth, and individuality, allowing the lantern to become part of the character of your home rather than simply another fixture. With its classic hanging profile and timeless Southern styling, this lantern complements traditional homes, historic-inspired architecture, porches, entryways, patios, gardens, and other spaces where craftsmanship and architectural detail take center stage. Built in-house by Flambeaux Lighting in Louisiana, it is a reflection of the company’s commitment to handcrafted copper lighting, New Orleans heritage, and enduring design.

This 3-light outdoor hanging lantern features exposed hardware and a crisp glass shade that brings coastal farmhouse style to your covered porch. Its rounded design is made from weather-resistant plastic with a rustic and breezy hue, and it hangs from an adjustable chain. The seeded glass shade is accented with subtle geometric arches and a tapered top that reminds us of vintage lighthouse lanterns. And it disperses ambient light from three candle-style bulbs (included) on an open candelabra base. Plus, we love that this wall lantern is compatible with a dimmer switch, allowing you to adjust the lighting from sunrise to sunset.

Originally made to encase the light of a flickering flame, lanterns were first designed for function, not fashion. Today, they incorporate both. Take this one for example: suspended by a chain, this piece is crafted from metal and showcases a cylindrical silhouette, putting a contemporary twist on a traditional silhouette. A wavy glass shade diffuses light from any compatible bulb up to 100W, while a damp location rating makes it ideal for your enclosed patio ensemble.
