This basket is great for storing things you won't use every day! It's really strong so I'm not worried about breakage, the only reason I wouldn't recommend it for high use is that some of the pieces jut out quite a bit and are very sharp, so I have to be careful not to get poked with them. I also would not use it in a kids' room for that reason. But I am using it to store tall bottles of plant nutrients, etc. on a shelf so it works great for my purpose.
