This tall drafting chair helps to improve the quality of your work while providing extra comfort and relaxation. The frame is crafted from high-quality plastic with a thickly padded seat that's wrapped in cotton and a mesh-lined back for added breathability. A black-finished base rests on five hooded caster wheels that can travel over just about any floor type. And a foot ring is included, adjustable to suit your desired height. Flip-up armrests, a lumbar support, and swivel and tilting functions make sure this office chair suits you and your space.

well the first thing that comes to mind is the speed of shipping that came very fast. the chair itself is awesome. I just could not find a comfortable counter height chair for my counter height kitchen table so I was thinking out of the box. I assembled it in probably a half hour to 40 minutes without any problems. I especially like the longer handle allen wrench with the bar at the end of it that made screwing in the screws a lot easier than a little finger allen wrench that you usually get with stuff. all the parts were there all the screws lined up without difficulty. chair is basic with nice coloring and ample padding on chair seat and arms. I am able to reach around while sitting to adjust the lumbar support. this chair has a rocking mechanism which I was not aware of but I havent dialed that in just yet but there is a knob to adjust the rocking mechanism. the height adjustment is pretty straightforward you have to not be sitting on the seat to raise it up. the seat is wide enough so I can sit with one leg under in a cross leg position and that was a big plus for me. the armrests lift up fully out of the way. I have lvp vinyl in the kitchen so these caster wheels slide across very easily. the foot rest is also what I had to consider and this one is perfect. all in all this is a perfect chair for my counter height kitchen table and it supports my wide load without difficulty.. This Gesture chair was designed by Steelcase to be confident, intentional, and highly evolved with simple sophistication. The design was meant to inspire confidence that it would deliver a great experience time and time again. The key design driver was to fundamentally rethink the chair based on the movement of the human body and the way we work today. Gesture won the Neocon Gold Award in 2013.

Very happy with the colors I chose. Quality of material is high. It arrived pre-assembled in a giant box. It was well wrapped and there's not a nick or scratch on the chair. Since working from home I burnt through a $400 chair in 2.5 years. I decided to make the investment in a higher quality chair. So far when I sit in it my sciatica goes away and my body is just immediately comfortable. I'm only 5'3" and my feet can actually firmly be on the ground. Very happy that I went with the Gesture. It adjusts to fit my height and the arm rests come in closer. I think this chair would still be great for average height people, but it's adjustable so that it works for smaller builds too.. Sg. USA. The first chair was slightly crooked. Wayfair shipped a second. Comfortable. Solid seat and back padding. Really great value for the price. I like that the base is metal and the gray/white color is pleasing. The only thing that I really don't like is the arm rests are not adjustable. Otherwise a very comfortable chair that can be used for daily computer work. Also, I find the seat material a bit scratchy on bare skin so I put a nice cashmere blanket over the seat cushion.. Lca. The Amia chair has a secret. Beneath the Amia chair's upholstery, inside its sleek backrest, there's a unique comfort system called live lumbar™ technology. You may not see it, but you'll certainly feel it. As you sit in the chair an adjustable live lumbar™ zone flexes with your every move for consistent ergonomic support for your lower back, hour after hour, day after day. The Amia chair was designed by Steelcase in collaboration with industrial designer, Thomas Overthin of IDEO.

I LOVE my navy and silver task chair. The upholstery is perfect; very smooth for my sensitive skin. I cannot believe how lucky I am to have this ergonomic task chair with all the bells and whistles that work so easily. The lumbar feels so good on my back. The arms are so flexible to move any which way I need them to. The casters are perfect for my hardwood floor; I can flip from one area of my desk to the other freely. It was so easy to take the well-protected chair out of the packaging. It is a fantastic buy. The entire experience was exceptional and I am thrilled. Thank you Wayfair for selling Steelcase and thank you Steelcase for still being the #1 manufacturer of task chairs after all these many years! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!. Carolishca. Lake Worth, FL. Whether you work remotely, in a hybrid situation or game at home, you need a comfortable chair to make that time behind a desk palatable. If you’re looking for an affordable office chair, this one has many adjustment points, including seat height, tilt tension, and lumbar support. The seat is fashioned from a firm foam, while the back is made from contoured mesh that encourages an active posture, i.e., one where you’re not slumping in your chair (which leads to lower back pain). It's available in some cool color combinations, one of which will for sure match your stylish office decor Investing in a good, ergonomic desk chair can help prevent and ease back and neck pain.

Sturdy and light, interesting adjectives to strong together but I think that is accurate. It was easy to put together (which is something I truly dislike).. Shaye. Orlando, FL. Thu Jun 04 2026
