This light works really well over our shower stall - contrary to a prior review, which almost made me not buy it - the surrounding trim is metal, the lens are plastic but solid. This is a very cool flush light. It is beautiful in the entry of my beach house. Be aware, it was a bear to install. My husband had to drill the screw holes to a larger size and replace the screws.
