Distinctive ornament provides a personal touch to your home. Includes complete installation instructions. An adjustable base allows for a variety of mounting options.

Replacing another Eagle that blew away in a storm. Did a lot of research, ended with this weathervane. It is a classic but, it doesn’t seem to be so ostentatious. Liked the design better of the next size up, but thought it might be too large (tall) for my copula. It’s winter, so I have not climbed up to install it yet. I Know I’m taking a risk, but the price was right and the reviews on all the sites seem to think Whitehall products are pretty good. Hope I’m right!. Howard. Merrick, NY. Thu Mar 05 2026

Weathervanes have been looked up to for hundreds of years. Popular in Europe, weathervane is valued for the function as much as the design. Farmers, seafarers, and others would watch the weathervane to get the weather forecast by paying close attention to changes in the wind, an indicator of bad or good weather. It is the hand-crafted fully-functional weathervane. Yes, it will still tell you if the wind is changing direction and will look great doing so.

I like to start a review with the packaging. So, it came in a box, very well cared for inside, fragile label on all sides, and it arrived via FedEx in perfect condition. Good job, Fedex!! Upon assembly I noticed it was very straight forward (mechanical mind not necessary), the instructions were clear and written in my language. Looking at this beautiful piece fully assembled made me feel almost awe struck, with its glowing copper eagle, and brass cardinal directions. Solid piece! I've capped the cupola I'm building with it and it made it even more pretty! The only downside that I could find us that it does not come with the mount. Not really a downside though and if I had read the description better I would've known that before the purchase. You will love this piece. I'd include a photo, but Wayfair is not specific on what type of file is allowed.. Carl. Middletown Springs, VT. Sat Oct 01 2022

First of all, this piece is absolutely gorgeous and very well made. I gave this weathervane to my husband because we have about 45 domestic ducks and 25 wild ducks on our farm. This looks just like the ducks when they are coming in for a landing and they ski down the surface of the pond! He absolutely loved it! I put it together, EASILY, and he even mounted it on our well house in the dark! because he was so anxious to see it! We all live on farms in our area. The neighbors have even noticed it from the road and commented on how beautiful it is! It's like a museum piece! Don't pass this one up! You will love it! Wayfair, as always, you've done it again!. Quality cupola! I installed this on a backyard shed that has a ridge vent. I cut the ridge vent as recommended in the installation instructions - a bit nerve-racking, but it turned out fine. I stapled screen on the inside of the louvered section to keep wasps from setting up house inside. I added a weather vane - the inside bracket is sturdy. Very well made!. Scott. Pleasant Grove, UT.
