This stained glass fan has to be one of my favorite purchases from Wayfair. It’s beautiful, timeless, and classy, it makes me feel like I’m living an old Florida dream in the early 1900s. It is the perfect fit for my Florida Room Guest Suite. I will share that the light it gives is minimal. The space I am using it in is a naturally bright room because of the wall of windows I have. For me it is perfect and sets the right vibe. I would suggest an additional lamp or two if you like a well lit room. Package was not damaged and everything inside was in good condition. I would suggest two people for mounting and read directions well for a successful installation of this fan. The lightbulbs in the top portion of the fan will be difficult to change when the time comes, this may be my only con in regard to this fan. Included with the fan is a remote for ease of use. You can also turn on two sets of lights with the pull strings attached to the fan, one lights up just the top portion and the other lights up the main light globe on the bottom portion. The item arrived well packaged and installation was relatively easy. The very last part of install was the light and there were two male connections instead of a male female, but just cut the end off and hardwired it not a big deal. It's a VERY pretty fan. The blades are a very light gray wash look - high end. I got the Nickel finish motor. On/off via light switch and then the remote controls everything. Most fans I run at speed 1 for sleeping and that creates some air movement. But this fan doesn't push a lot of air, so i have to use speed 2 or 3 to get the same effect. This is in a guest room, which is rarely used, so that's fine for my needs. But if you need a fan that REALLY creates a breeze in a room, this is NOT the one. (Minus a star for that).. Tamara954. It's a beautiful fan! We bought two, one for our bedroom and one for a back room that does not get much air circulation. The glass dome is very pretty and filters the light nicely. Make sure you get smaller bulbs with lower watts, standard light bulbs do not fit within the dome and higher wattage bulbs (over 60w) produced rather harsh light.
