Two great lights next to my garage door. Install was easy. The only difficulty was that they didn't hang evenly from the exterior wall when mounted. I utilized magnetic tape along the inside edge of the mount to bring it out so they would hang straight. Hopefully this will stay! Also, unsure if the mounting bracket should have caulking around it to prevent water leakage. Your size guidance chart was very helpful in deciding on the length and width! Easy to put my holiday swag around these lights too. And lastly, nice that they are light timed - coming on at dusk and turning off at dawn.. Mary Lynn. Naples, FL. Thu Oct 08 2026

Bring instant curb appeal to your outdoor space with this American vintage post lantern. Crafted from durable iron with a matte black finish and crackled glass, it transforms driveways, walkways, and porches into a warm, relaxed, suburban-style retreat that feels welcoming every night.

I like this a lot and it was a nice and easy install. It comes with the lightbulb which is also really nice. The only thing that frustrated me is that the base of it is plastic. I was screwing it in and the plastic cracked. I plan to paint the post so I will try to cover the crack with paint also but when that happens with a new light you are just frustrated. The one I had replaced had a metal base and it made me question if I was going down in quality.. Kate. Bloomsburg, PA. Thu Oct 08 2026

I chose this light for its modern appeal. I also like the crackle glass shade and that the bulb is completely covered and better protected. The size seems good for front door or garage, maybe patio. I'm obsessed with these light fixtures! We replaced a very dated fixture with these and it made a HUGE difference. They were easy to install and worked immediately with no set up or programming. They come on automatically and dusk and turn off when the sun comes up. At night they are at a medium brightness but as soon as someone walks up they switch to a higher brightness. Pure genius. I LOVE not having to see a lightbulb through a glass panel. The LED bulb is not visible and the seeded glass almost appears as if it's water falling. Just gorgeous! And a great price too.. Laura.
