The Mikasa French Countryside flatware set is a quaint design, versatile enough to coordinate with multiple decorating styles. It has a highly polished finish which I plan to hand wash and dry most of the time, although Im sure it would hold up well in the dishwasher. The weight and balance is good, but I find it slightly more cumbersome to use than another set I have. In my pictures I show another older European sized set that is slightly larger, and a vintage set that I consider human sized, along with the Mikasa set in the center. I would prefer to buy American made these are made in Vietnam. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and Wayfair has competitive prices and fast shipping.. Ritzby. USA. Mon Sep 14 2026

Whether your style is formal or casual, you'll appreciate the superb Lenox artistry and craftsmanship in this stainless flatware set. Truly a jewel for your table decor.

The silverware is BEAUTIFUL - but I ordered several sets and all but one was missing at least one piece of the set. Took three tries for replacement to get them, and still short some pieces but I accepted a partial refund and was DONE dealing with it. I was guaranteed that the replacement silverware sets would be checked to be sure all pieces were there, but that obviously didn't happen... they pretty much made it right (except still missing a couple of pieces/refunded) but it was quite a hassle!.
