At first, I wasn't sure about this. It's lightweight, aside from the removable grill itself - light plastic and metal. But it works quite well! I wanted a non-stick griddle that would be good for eggs or pancakes. I know these types of teflon non-stick pans are being fazed out for ceramic non-stick.
