Got this for my almost 4 year old and she loves it. Took my husband about an hour and a half to assemble it.My daughter has asked me to sleep with her a few time and I was really impressed by how sturdy the bed feels. We initially had it setup with the guard rail as she got acclimated to it and now we have it setup as a daybed so mom and dad can get in and out of the bed a little more comfortably.. Arista. This is a great bed. For the price we are really happy with it! We’re using it for our grandchildren. However, one thing you do need to know is a standard mattress doesn’t fit correctly. There’s about 3 to 4 inches on the top and the bottom that if a child was standing on the bed, their foot can go right down through. We are going to remedy it with some foam and some wood support. However, just beware of this issue. Other than that and the fact that the frame is too big for a standard twin mattress and too small for a twin XL. It’s a really great sturdy bed.. Patricia. Create a safe, stylish, and inspiring sleep space with this modern floor bed featuring super-high security barriers. Designed close to the ground, it encourages independence while providing a protected environment for restful sleep. Crafted from solid pine wood, the sturdy frame offers long-lasting durability and stability. Clean lines and a minimalist silhouette blend seamlessly into modern children’s bedrooms, doubling as a cozy space for play, reading, and relaxation.

It’s great. I had a 10” mattress and this was pretty much the only option that allowed that size mattress with a significant rail length left to have my toddler protected from rolling over and falling. The rails are not very sturdy but sometimes my daughter climbs over them and they have stayed in a good shape. I was worried about that when I read other reviews but it’s definitely not bad. Please note that there’s a space left on the edges, so if your child uses a pacifier be prepared to go looking for it at night.. Alba. Mon Oct 19 2026

We painted this green to have the lurid green bed of my son’s dreams and it looks good both pre-paint and post-paint. I’m concerned about long term quality and if this will really last. The side rails aren’t a single piece - it’s two pieces and there is a short leg that sits under them (so the bed has six legs instead of 4). This dinky little leg constantly needs to be adjusted so it is standing straight and not at an angle under the bed. That said my husband is a big guy (6’8”, 275lbs) and we have two kids and he can read to them in the bed. Since it has held his weight for a year now, I’m giving 4 stars instead of 3. Lauren. Super cute, my toddler was so excited. Took about 2.5 hours to build. Downside is the casters had to be left off or the drawers are too high to properly close all the way. Wish the support beams came with a few additional pieces so my husband and I felt more secure when laying in it with him to put him to sleep but overall sturdy enough. We also had to buy corner cushions for the pieces by the stairs because they are pretty sharp and my toddler slipped on the stairs and got a small cut by his eye when he hit the rails by the steps..
