Capable of working on every type of heating source, including induction, the heat-diffusing bottom with elevated thickness guarantees outstanding heat distribution. Handles are ergonomically shaped and are hollow for better heat resistance.

I purchased the Mepra Non-Stick Frying Pan (MEP1300) from Wayfair a few months ago and Love it. The only problem was it did NOT come with a lid. THIS is the matching lid for that pan. It make the frying pan even better to use and keeps foods warm and cook beautifully. It is beautifully made and cleans easily with no water stains. Be careful when ordering, the sizing under Specifications is confusing. I'm happy to have the lid.. Max. Westport, CT. Wed Jan 22 2020

The Rectangular Dome/ Chafer Lid is perfect for covering standard rectangular chafer. It will help keep food warm. Bright polished body with durable plastic handle.

This review is mixed. I ordered 4 of these covers. 3 of those I am satisfied with which is why I gave it a 4 star. However, 1 of the covers arrived damaged. The lid is super bent and damaged so much that the screw wasn't even in and can't be put back in because it won't line up to the hole. Shipping box was fine and they wrap it pretty good so leads me to believe it was packaged damaged.. Laura. Indianapolis, IN. Sun Dec 07 2025

The structure of the melting dome allows heat to concentrate under the dome and cook your food more evenly. You will also get a wonderful smoker flavor as the melting dome will trap the flavors trying to escape your meal and circulate them back around, adding to that great grilled food taste. Sear, saute, and sizzle without the mess. This durable and versatile splatter guard is a heavy-duty grease cover. Moisture is the enemy of crisping and browning, so this crucial kitchen tool is built with a stainless steel interior mesh panel that lets steam escape - but keeps oil in the pan - so bacon crisps and chicken browns perfectly every time. Plus, it protects your stove and countertop from grease and oil. The dual stainless steel rims are designed for a perfect fit on most 10- and 12-inch pans; the guard can serve as a cover for any pot or pan up to 12 inches. The stainless steel handle, which is wrapped in comfortable stay-cool silicone, easily folds away for compact storage between uses. This versatile tool can also be used as a strainer for draining pasta and grains. And it’s dishwasher safe, so you can forget the grease and focus on the food.

Cover your pots and pans with this lid and easily bring a pot of water to a boil, simmer your sauces, steam foods like vegetables, seafood, and grains, and braise tougher meats like brisket and short ribs. The possibilities are endless as this lid works with many of Matfer's Copper Cookware, including the sauce pan, casserole pot, brasier, and saute pans, all perfect for your professional and home kitchens alike. To find the right sized lid just match its diameter to the diameter of your pan. This lid is available in a choice of 7 sizes, each sold separately. Manufactured in France, this lid is the ideal counterpart to Matfer's Copper Cookware line, all made of the same smooth, polished, and fine copper material. Our copper not only guarantees high heat and temperature control, but also the added benefit of even cooking, thanks to its 2.5mm thickness, creating perfect results and in no time at all! This lid's durable cast iron handle and grip ensures reliable cool touch support and balance when lifting, this way you can constantly check on your dishes with ease. To clean, simply hand wash with a mild detergent and warm water. Please note that the copper material will develop a rich patina over time, but this will not affect the quality of the pan or its cooking performance. To keep it looking new and shiny, try using Matfer's Bistro Copper Cleaning Paste, sold separately.
