This really is a beautiful rug, it does say that it’s washable but the size I got is way too large so I will not be able to wash it in a standard machine. It does have more white in it than I expected so if you have young children or pets, you may wanna put it somewhere where it’s off-limits to them. I put mine in the guest room, which is not used on a frequent basis and the door is shut, so the animals cannot get in the color combination is extremely appealing. I actually have 3 of these. This one is in my closet. We just moved and you know how that is if you’ve never moved. So those were the cleanest corners I could find. The rug is very well-made. It is very thin and it has ripped on the bottom so it doesn’t fly too much. In my closet I did put a thick pad under it and the other room we use it.
