It’s a great umbrella! Once I decided where to place it on my patio, a few months after it was delivered and set up, it was a great choice. Once I moved it, tightened the pole on the base, I found it much better and happier that I bought it.. It does provide good sun and even rain protection. This is by far the best market umbrella I’ve ever owned. I opted for the sunbrella fabric as it’s heavier than the other fabrics I’ve owned in the past (and did not last as long). This umbrella has a bronze colored pole and is operated by a hand crank although it does have an auto tilt feature. The auto tilt is amazing as you slowly keep cranking after the umbrella is fully extended, the auto tilt engages and the umbrella will automatically tilt. Once you start cranking in the opposite direction to close the umbrella, the auto tilt disengages and the umbrella stands upright so you can finish closing it. I bought the umbrella in the blue frost color and after two years the fabric has not faded and the crank and auto tilt, still work perfectly.. Holly. Afton, VA. Mon Jun 01 2026
