As you can see I just finished building this unit. I’m a 73 year young women that can bake fantastic cookies but not very handy with tools. I was a little impatient waiting for a friend’s help so I tackled it myself. I DID IT!!! Like I said, I’m not handy with tools and probably took me longer than most because I was definitely intimidated. It did took me 3 hours, I wasn’t racing against the clock. The direction were very clear and easy but I was afraid of being a failure and took the time to get it right the first time. The directions instructed to build it upside down which made perfect sense but stranding it up was a struggle for one person. Different in a good way! This is exactly the look I wanted, and I'm thrilled the cream color part is NOT painted wood. Its linear versus L-shape placement options are appealing too. We chose the former for this spot but like knowing that can change. One caution: assembly is time consuming and you’d better study and follow the pictorial instructions, not just wing it!
