The white Moravian Star is made of PVC with Warm White LED. Very easy to assemble and clips together. The material is thin and flexible. This led star folds flat for off-season storage. It doesn’t occupy space and is not easy to be damaged. It needs 3 AA batteries. The battery power supply is not limited by the site. With the timer function, you don’t have to go out every night to turn them on/off. 6 hours on and 18 hours off. It is fairly easy to assemble and it will be a beautiful addition to your yearly holiday decorations. A unique item. It's absolutely beautiful hanging on the front porch and front door area. This was actually way better than I expected. It has some weight to it. It's a hard sturdy plastic. It does take 3 AA batteries but as soon as I popped them in and flipped the switch it worked just as it should. I had several comments on it from people entering my house. This is a lovely lantern. I’m actually surprised it arrived mostly intact. One of the glass sides was not even attached and was loose! A small sliver at the bottom was broken off but that’s it! I was able to secure it like it should be and you can’t even tell the broken piece. It appears it was never secure initially as the part that bends down to secure it was never bent down. How that glass didn’t break further is beyond me. This is a well made lantern. I’m using it inside as I’m redecorating in a Victorian Gothic theme.
