This is a beautiful cabinet once assembled the only reason for the 4 star is that it took me twice as long to get the doors on correctly as it did to assemble the entire rest of the cabinet. They predrills for the doors are tiny and barely visible and you have to try and guess where they are while holding up the door and trying to screw it on. The door latch is scratching the wall of the cabinet while this whole process is taking place but thankfully the scratches are hidden under the latch once its on. Once the doors are finally on they have to be adjusted to be equal. Its a huge process just for doors but its possible and the cabinet is very sturdy and looks great once its done. This traditional looking sideboard with adjustable shelves makes a great storage unit for kitchens, living rooms and entryways. It is made of MDF with a wide countertop that is water and moisture resistant and features 4 legs and a center support leg that can hold up to 275 pounds. The two drawers feature metal glides for easy maneuverability, and the cabinets below have adjustable shelves on the inside for easy storage of dishes, tablecloths and utensils, and top space for frequently used items and decorative accessories.

I’m very happy with it. It took a bit of time, but I was slow and cautious and deliberate, and I would say it went together quite easily. There are a couple of little white scuff areas that I need to clean up. There is a gap of maybe a half inch between the two doors on the left. Ideally they would meet. It doesn’t bother me too badly because it still looks black. Hopefully the surface will hold up overtime. A compact, clean-lined buffet that blends classic Shaker styling with everyday storage. We purchased three oak cabinets to make a buffet. All came in perfect shape due to excellent packaging. Instructions are easy to follow pictures, but we found that putting hinges on panels 2 and 3, right from the start made it easier to put doors on at the end, since it’s hard to screw on when everything is put together. The trick at the end is to make sure the hinges are in closed position then place door holes over hinge, as if the door was completely closed. Then slowly open the door and the hinge will be in correct position to screw the remaining screws on door backside. Also double check that panel 5 is in correct position with locking mechanism near panel 4, otherwise you will have the holes of the mechanism on the top side of the shelf when finished and will have to use oak stickers to cover up the silver hardware. I purchased two of these cabinets and was pleasantly surprised by how easy they were to assemble. I put both together myself without any issues, and the instructions were straightforward. Once assembled, they looked great and fit perfectly in my space. The drawers and doors open and close smoothly, and everything functions exactly as it should. The quality is good—not necessarily high-end—but for the price I paid, I think they offer excellent value. One thing I’d note is that the color in my photos looks a little different because the sunlight was changing while I was taking them. The actual color is much closer to what is shown on the website.. Got the brown color—it’s a bit darker in person, more like walnut, but I still like it. Feels sturdy and well made. Assembly took a few hours, mainly because I had to adjust the hinges to fix a large gap between the doors. The instructions explain how to adjust them, but not when it’s needed.
