As you can probably tell from my photos, Im an eclectic maximalist. I love filling my home with lots of décor, artwork, books, vases, and unique finds, so I need furniture that can actually handle my decorating style. The bookcase itself pretty good, around 9 stars. But the assembly instructions were poor, around 3 stars. In addition, there were not enough wood dowels included. This is exactly what I was looking for to hide trash cans and protect the wall. The closed back keep the trash can lids from digging into the wall and making tiny gashes. The adjustable shelves are the true MVP of this product offering flexibility to adapt to how you need to use it. I wish the color was a shade lighter, but not a big problem.
