I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. Comes largely put together and you have to slot in a couple of pieces and that is it. Took 15 mins with 2 of us. Fabric is surprisingly good for the price and is nice to the touch. The seat part of the sofa is not hard but not soft. I would say medium to soft but this is understandable given it is a sofa bed and I am overall very impressed with its comfort. The quality of this sofa/sleeper is exactly what I ordered! It sits firmer than I thought but not uncomfortable. The storage area underneath is large and a plus. The sleeper part is easy to lay out. Overall, I’m very pleased with the product. The service to assemble the sofa/unit on the other hand, was not good. The first crew did not assemble it correctly and didn’t quite seem to know how to put it together. I had to contact Wayfair as I knew it was not done right, couldn’t even sit on it! I requested them to send another crew to resembled it correctly. This took more time and effort than I desired, a couple of additional weeks. However, Wayfair made sure it was taken care of and completed to my satisfaction. They listened to my concerns and made this right in the end. I am very pleased with its size and appearance. It sits in my house on its side, un assembled. That’s right. It in fact requires assembly but provides not a hint of how to finish that.
