I think if I could give a half star, I would. I’d give this a 4.5 stars. First off, it ships in two boxes which is nice. It makes it much easier to handle once delivered. It comes packaged well and nothing was damaged in transit. Assembly is quite laborious. It took me a long time to put this together all by myself. There are a lot of screw and various parts. The MDF does seem a little soft. Someone else said that in a review and I didn’t quite understand what they meant until I assembled it myself. Some of the screws didn’t seem to grip the wood when you put them in. That being said though, it does seem like a sturdy piece once assembled so long as you don’t move it. It’s an impossible piece to move by yourself once assembled due to its size and the way it is held together. It does seem very sturdy once it’s placed in its final position. I did not have any trouble with the door or drawer alignment. I think it does look nice once is assembled and I love the storage of it. (The M8 sizes included were were an M8-40 for curved TV and short M8-15 that can’t possibly get depth needed after going through bracket mount, bracket hooks, washer, and indented female thread space.) Nothing a trip to Lowe’s can’t handle, but whoever thought the M8-10 could thread anything never mounted a TV. NOTE on the legs - WIDTH 28” - solid but be aware of the width to fit under a large console. My wide BDI has midpoint legswheels and unfortunately they align perfectly w the stand’s legs, so I can’t tuck TV under and close to the console without offsetting it from center. This Farmhouse TV stand compliments our living area perfectly. We have a fairly small 1 bedroom apartment and this TV stand fit perfectly in the space without being overwhelming. There are 3 drawers that offer a ton of storage space for us and the stand itself is very sturdy and holds our 55” tv well with enough room left for our router. The wood is of nice quality and not just a finished particle board which makes the price very reasonable for the quality of the furniture. The assembly took a little over an hour but was not difficult nor was following the instructions with all tools and screws included, you just have to assemble every piece including the drawers.
