In a secret garden, even the fairies find a quiet niche! No proper British garden is complete without this icon garden fairy. White peacocks have been kept at the Netherlands' Staverden Castle since the year 1400 when the Duke of Gueire lent his lavish forest home only under the condition that it still keeps white peacocks to provide feathers for his helmet. The peacock feathers are now presented annually to the Commissioner of the Queen in Gelderland. Sculpted atop a gloriously arched urn, this exclusive still-proud peacock statue was sculpted almost a yard high and cast in quality designer resin in an antique stone finish. Recommended to be stored indoors during winter and freezing temperatures.

I fell in love with this onsight. I love egyptian art decor. I finally purchased it. When it finally arrived it was damaged but Wayfair made things right. I would suggest when packaging and shipping items like this to surround it with styfoam and bubble wrap and then put in the box. This is a beautiful delicate piece but mine came in a plastic bag in a box. Nonetheless this is a great piece of art.. Miranda. Bronx, NY. Fri Jun 05 2026

This Charging Bison Sculpture is made of the highest quality resin, undergoing the process of bronze electroplating giving it a uniform shine on the inside as well as the surface of the figurine. This process makes the figurine resemble the look of actual bronze but with much lesser weight. To add sculptural aesthetics and display worthiness, we add accent black plastic bases to the sculpture.

I am very pleased with the quality of the bison figurine. There is a lot of attention paid to detail. The coloring is different than I anticipated; however, I find it very pleasing. It is more copper in color. It is truly a beautiful piece of art and I hope to enjoy it for years to come.. Madelynn. Mesa, AZ. Wed May 13 2026

First used in 17th-century English shops to advertise American tobacco to a still illiterate European population, the life-size Cigar Store Indian is highly collectible as folk art. Loosely based on an 1875 carving by Thomas Brooks of New York's Auer Tobacco Company, our antique replica is cast in quality designer resin and hand-painted in a weathered palette. While sometimes criticized as a simplistic and demeaning stereotype of Native Americans, these historic icons of an era are still much admired for their artistic hand carving and unique place in advertising history. This sculpture is inspired by traditional Southwest art but is not an Indian product or the product of a particular tribe or organization.

The outstretched arms standing sculpture is made of aluminum in a striated surface that brings it one aspect of its design distinction: When the finish is rubbed onto its surface, it collects in the valleys to bring added patina to the gray sculpture. This lends it a textural feel that convinces the eye this is a vintage decorative accessory. In the foyer of a modern home filled with contemporary art, this decorative accessory will hold its own. We offer a number of sculptures in this family of decorative accessories. Each of these reflects the ethos that Phillips Collection personifies: Modern organic.

Within the past 8 months, I purchased 2 of the beautifully textured, lifesize human figure sculptures from the works of the Phillips Collection. Both have been outstanding and I am overjoyed to add them to my outside sculpture collection.. Marilyn. York, PA. Tue Jun 02 2026

This is a pure bronze statue replica of The Crouching Woman by Auguste Rodin. In between romanticism and impressionism, this self-willed Frenchman created some of the most famous pieces known in the art of sculpting. He was very talented at conveying feeling in his compositions by emphasizing gesture. Also, his rough surface texture with deep hollows added strong shadows and naturalism to the human form. Rodin's goal, as he put it, was "to render inner feelings through muscular movement." He achieved this aim by joining his profound knowledge of anatomy and movement with special attention to the body's surfaces, saying. The statue must learn to reproduce the surface, which means all that vibrates on the surface, soul, love, passion, life...

Crafted from high-quality resin, it ensures durability and a lifelike appearance. Ideal for collectors of Greek mythology and classical art, this sculpture is both decorative and meaningful. A perfect gift for those who appreciate mythology and fine craftsmanship, it combines artistic beauty with mythical significance.

As an inveterate lover of ancient Greek, Hellenistic, Etruscan, and Roman sculpture and classical art, the purchase of the Camie statue depicting the Greek god Hermes (Mercury) was a natural choice. I saw this exemplary stunning Roman copy of the Hellenistic original by the 4th-century BC master Lysippus at the Musée du Louvre in Paris. It's a beautifully rendered, small-scale copy of that masterpiece. I couldn't be more thrilled about my decision to purchase it for my space. Note: From a historical standpoint, three of the most visually compelling aspects of Hellenistic sculpture are its rigid adherence to the formulaic principles of symmetrical balance; mathematically precise ratios of proportion—and aesthetic corporeal harmony. The same can be said about the Classical period, which began in the mid-5th century BC, and this design trifecta continued into the Hellenistic period (323–30 BC) following Alexander the Great's death in June 323 BC, with one divergent exception—that being the old concept of the immobile constraint, stylized idealization of the human form—which readily defines classical sculpture, versus that of vigorous natural realism that became the new idea that would single-handedly transform Hellenistic sculpture as witnessed by this brilliantly masterful example.. Its design makes it a versatile addition to any outdoor space, providing an intriguing focal point that complements various garden styles. The statue is available in multiple finishes, including aged limestone and copper bronze, allowing you to choose the perfect hue for your landscape.

The statue is gorgeous. It is NOT A SATYR (which has goat horns and legs of a horse). This is likely Bacchus (Roman) or Dionysus (Greek). It is stunning and perfect for my collection of statuary. The delivery was highly problematic, however, which put a dent in my experience.. John. Washington State. Wed Mar 12 2025
