The backrest features a unique, geometric design for added visual appeal. Requiring assembly, the chair features a smooth scoop seat for casual comfort. These are great chairs for the asking price. And I'm very happy with my purchase. However, I've assembled lots of pre-engineered rubberwood furniture before and I thought the assembly for these chairs was non-trivial. The back and legs go together fine (although the angled placement of the hex-head screws is tedious). I used a T25 Torx driver to at least get them finger tight before pulling out the hex wrench. But the seat itself wasn't aligned (or pre-drilled) and had to be clamped down before I could flip it over to secure it with the provided screws. Not a show-stopper but buyer beware. Overall, this is a quality product, once you get it assembled.. Jack. Reading, MA. Fri Sep 04 2026

I bought these as a place for older guests to sit when they visit our apartment, which has rather low seating, japanese style. The upholstered seat is firm and comfortable, and they look quite good. The metal bars underneath don't catch the eye, very subtle. Wonderfu,l practical piece of furniture.. Colleen. Seattle, WA. Sun Oct 04 2026
