This Gesture chair was designed by Steelcase to be confident, intentional, and highly evolved with simple sophistication. The design was meant to inspire confidence that it would deliver a great experience time and time again. The key design driver was to fundamentally rethink the chair based on the movement of the human body and the way we work today. Gesture won the Neocon Gold Award in 2013.

Very happy with the colors I chose. Quality of material is high. It arrived pre-assembled in a giant box. It was well wrapped and there's not a nick or scratch on the chair. Since working from home I burnt through a $400 chair in 2.5 years. I decided to make the investment in a higher quality chair. So far when I sit in it my sciatica goes away and my body is just immediately comfortable. I'm only 5'3" and my feet can actually firmly be on the ground. Very happy that I went with the Gesture. It adjusts to fit my height and the arm rests come in closer. I think this chair would still be great for average height people, but it's adjustable so that it works for smaller builds too.. Sg. USA. Designed for big and tall users, this executive office chair combines a breathable high-resilience mesh back with a thick PU leather seat for long-lasting comfort. The dynamic lumbar support, adjustable headrest, and 3D flip-up armrests help create a more ergonomic sitting experience for home offices, computer desks, study rooms, and executive workspaces.

Very high quality, easy to put together, and strong. I am a 6' 3", 310 lb man, and this chair is big even for me. Definitely recommend. I also purchased for the head support, and it is the prefect height for my head. The headrest is not height-adjustable, which is the only downside I see. The wheels roll smooth. The armrests lowest level is a tad high, but that doesn't bother me or my posture.. Josh. Minneapolis, MN. Sat Apr 18 2026

Incredibly comfortable chair! Ive found it really ergonomic for long workdays – it's very comfortable and was very straightforward to assemble. I needed a basic desk chair for home that would be comfortable enough to use for an entire workday. Office chairs can be expensive, and although I was skeptical at first (how good could a chair really be at this price point?), I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort and sturdiness of this chair. The mesh back is supportive and comfortable, the seat is well-cushioned, and the adjustments work as expected.. Joshua. Baltimore, MD. Mon Oct 05 2026

Assembly took a bit of time, and some parts were difficult to screw together, especially when attaching the second arm to the base. Once assembled, however, the chair feels very sturdy and is extremely comfortable. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.. Anna. Omaha, NE. Mon Aug 03 2026

On the path to pursuing an outstanding office experience, this luxurious office chair will be your ideal choice and redefine your comfort at work.

This chair is nice real leather and seems to be a good quality, not likely to start peeling quickly. The seat is nice and wide and constructed well. It isn't the most cushioned on the bottom, but good enough for this style of chair. The bolts that screwed in the sides of the cushions for the back were somewhat temperamental to get in the right angle since they were counter sunk in the hole, especially considering the hole in the leather was too small.. Brittany. Wooster, OH. Fri Dec 27 2024

I bought the silver color which means the seat is a light gray. I looked a long time for a small ergonomic computer chair. I found plenty of $400+ chairs but some delivery dates were up to 30 days and I was hoping to spend less. My husband put this chair together and said it was easy. Chair fits me perfectly at 5'5". Mesh seat back is unbelievably comfortable and the back does slide up and down to adjust. Arms are adjustable for height and width.
