The cushions are vacuum-compressed for packaging. Before installation, please firmly pat the cushions to help the silk cotton quickly expand and fill the entire cushion. It usually takes 2-3 days for cushions to fully plump up to optimal state.

It is just the size I needed. I was surprised at how easily and quickly I put it together by myself. Only needed help setting it upright and moving it to the rug. Great futon! Shorter (on the back) than I expected but overall it serves its purpose. We bought this for our 10 year old who needed a little sitting area in his room to watch tv or play video games while friends are over. Cool that it converts to an extra bed as well.
