well the first thing that comes to mind is the speed of shipping that came very fast. the chair itself is awesome. I just could not find a comfortable counter height chair for my counter height kitchen table so I was thinking out of the box. I assembled it in probably a half hour to 40 minutes without any problems. I especially like the longer handle allen wrench with the bar at the end of it that made screwing in the screws a lot easier than a little finger allen wrench that you usually get with stuff. all the parts were there all the screws lined up without difficulty. chair is basic with nice coloring and ample padding on chair seat and arms. I am able to reach around while sitting to adjust the lumbar support. this chair has a rocking mechanism which I was not aware of but I havent dialed that in just yet but there is a knob to adjust the rocking mechanism. the height adjustment is pretty straightforward you have to not be sitting on the seat to raise it up. the seat is wide enough so I can sit with one leg under in a cross leg position and that was a big plus for me. the armrests lift up fully out of the way. I have lvp vinyl in the kitchen so these caster wheels slide across very easily. the foot rest is also what I had to consider and this one is perfect. all in all this is a perfect chair for my counter height kitchen table and it supports my wide load without difficulty.. Arrived quickly as always with Wayfair. Was all in one box- not too heavy but awkward for one person to move. Would recommend two people. Directions are pretty straightforward. Color looks true to picture. The seat has a good amount of cushion, more form when you push down on it. Has four rolling caster wheels and seat does adjust which is awesome. Overall would recommend. Took about 30 minutes to assemble. Nothing hard. It sits ok. Not super soft but ok. To me it’s ok for a woman but not for a 250 pound man. It’s not beefy enough. Not sure how long it will hold up. For now its ok.. Crystal. Seneca, SC. Sat Oct 17 2026

This Gesture chair was designed by Steelcase to be confident, intentional, and highly evolved with simple sophistication. The design was meant to inspire confidence that it would deliver a great experience time and time again. The key design driver was to fundamentally rethink the chair based on the movement of the human body and the way we work today. Gesture won the Neocon Gold Award in 2013.

Very happy with the colors I chose. Quality of material is high. It arrived pre-assembled in a giant box. It was well wrapped and there's not a nick or scratch on the chair. Since working from home I burnt through a $400 chair in 2.5 years. I decided to make the investment in a higher quality chair. So far when I sit in it my sciatica goes away and my body is just immediately comfortable. I'm only 5'3" and my feet can actually firmly be on the ground. Very happy that I went with the Gesture. It adjusts to fit my height and the arm rests come in closer. I think this chair would still be great for average height people, but it's adjustable so that it works for smaller builds too.. Sg. USA. I’ve had the chair for awhile and I love it. It’s lasted so far and has endured a few cat hairballs and cleaned up well. This drafting chair is sooooo comfortable! It arrived to my home super quickly and undamaged despite the shipping box looking worse for the wear! LOL! Assembly was a breeze with all screws and washers accounted for. I've been using this for over a week now at my height adjustable desk (from Wayfair too!) and I can say this is the most comfortable drafting chair I've ever had! The seat cushion is firm but comfortable and wraps your thighs nicely. The hydraulics have just enough "bounce" to make it like you're sitting on a cloud. The arms flip up and are just the right size for relaxing. I can highly recommend!! A+. Mountainmomma. USA. Tue Oct 06 2026

Whether you're an engineer focused on blueprints for hours, an artist in the flow of creation, or a meticulous researcher in the lab, your workstation deserves a seat that rises to the occasion. This Professional Drafting Chair is engineered for elevated work.

Love the chair, good quality but a little tall for my preference. I have it on the lowest setting but would like a little lower. Still works out. One of the arms continuously falls back which I can’t decide if I like that feature or not, I think so.. since it allows it to push under desk fully.. Angela. Mon Aug 31 2026
