These are nice sconces but I will not be able to use them. I thought they were battery operated but they are hard wired. This is a solid sconce. The size/scale are perfect for small spaces or when a minimal look is preferred. I love the retro cord. My only comment, I received installation instructions for a hard wire by electrician. This sconce is intended to be a plug in, I didn't receive the instructions for that type of install.
