There are a couple of things to be aware of: 1) Although easy to do, there are many pieces to assemble, so count on maybe 2-3 hours of time to fully assemble the desk, hutch and all of the drawers. 2) Given the type of coated particle board construction that is used, there were some small blemishes on corners/ends of a few of the pieces. When the package arrived I unpacked all the items snd noticed one item cracked and I was so disappointed plus I really didn’t want to repack all the pieces into the box. I went to the Wayfair Help area and although I had to take a lot of pictures, I was able to get a new piece mailed to me. Communication kept me informed of the shipment. The desk itself took a bit of time to put together for me and if time is a constraint, I would hire someone else to do it. The extra phone plugs are handy and the lights can be white or blue, which really make it nice so don’t buy a lamp to go along with the desk. It’s a little small we than expected (that what I get for not paying attention to the size) but looks great and was easy to assemble. And it going to work perfectly for our “game” room.
