In total, there were only 6 parts: the 4 legs, the top piece and the bottom shelf. From unboxing to building to moving out the old TV stand to setting everything into place on the new TV stand, took about 45 minutes. This is probably the best value for any piece of furniture Ive ever purchased. Less than 400 and this is the focal point of my living room. I think it looks super high end, even in person, and would have paid twice the amount and still been happy. I had a handyman assemble for me so I cant speak to the assembly issues others mentioned but he got it together very quickly.
