Submitting this review 15 months after delivery. This chair is a good value for the price. After 15 months of near daily use, the chair has held up in "new" condition without any issues. I don't recall if the description indicates the chair reclines or rocks back. There is "give" to the back but you would have to have a lot of weight and force to keep it in the "reclined" position which is only a few inches. This is not a problem for me as I don't need this functionality. The item was easy to assemble, I did it myself in no time at all. Make note, there are four small, plastic pieces to insert on each side of the chair that can be easily lost in the packaging. Also, they are plastic (cheap). Install them carefully because if you crack them, I'm sure there is no replacement part available. They require a little "force" to insert.. They are shown in photos so you know what pieces to look out for when you unbox.. Jennifer. Westport, CT. Mon Apr 18 2022

This chair is amazing! So comfortable. I work 2 jobs from home now and take online classes, so I am in the chair about 14 hours a day. It has great back support and the seat is real thick and cushioned. I am plus plus size -) and 5’7 and the chair fits perfectly, even with the arms (I personally love having arms on a chair) it was easy to put together, I did it myself, although very heavy. Better in person! Quality is really nice and comfortable. Was wanting a wider seat but a stylish look and it’s perfect. Ashley. CA. Wed Sep 30 2026

I would've given the chair five (5) stars as it is simply beautiful. Red leather is beautiful and finely designed. However, the flawed design mechanics required demerits. The screw holes to the base and the screw holes to the chair did not aligned and required me to use my adjustable grip pliers. When I was finally able to tighten the screws, the screw heads were stripped. When I turned the chair upright to sit down, a metal piece fell to the floor. The adjustable bar in the base which allows the chair to rise and fall as well as recline comes all the way out of the chair. I deduced the metal piece which broke loose when I turned the chair upright, that was it's function to keep the adjustment bar from coming all the way out. The customer service representative reduced the price of the chair by 20% or $477 which I considered a fair deal.. G. Detroit, MI. Wed Jul 20 2022
