Pros=For that price I was expecting better from the company, from the description and the pictures. It does not extract a 'wow' from my guests but it does not get chided either - it adds a conservative finish decor to your place - and we sought that. Cons =Major broken pieces and major cracks - see photos. I used gorilla glue to glue the broken pieces and cracks. Bottom line = if you want a clean and conservative finish, go for it - but watch out for broken parts - manufacturer must lower price for the end consumer - for their QC lapse and charge back the shipper for mishaps.. We were very pleased with the TV stand. The first one we bought was not solid wood and incurred quite a bit of damage in shipment. Sent pictures to Wayfair and they immediately gave me credit towards next purchase and told me to discard or donate damaged piece. I donated it. The construction and delivery was great. Looks just like the picture and it was not too difficult to assemble. Speakers are good, but can't get them to sync with our TV. The connecting wire is the same as a headphone jack, and not compatible to hooking to our TV directly, but we were able to hook it to our TiVo. We cannot use these speakers the same time as the TV speakers; they will not sync. Also, the instruction manual does not help instruct how to best set up the sound for the speakers. Split wood backing, had re-drill to be level. Rough plywood was used. Had to touch up stain on top of the tv stand. We chose this piece because of the glass panels - our 18 month old is obsessed with turning the cable box on and off. It is a huge TV stand. Tall enough to keep our 3 year old from turning the TV on or off, and big enough inside for lots of DVDs. The only issue we've had is after 3 weeks of the two toddler rapping on the glass panels, the plastic tabs holding them in place broke and one of the panels fell and cracked.
