I am very happy with the quality of this tv stand. It is solid wood and the finish is well done there were two small spots where the finish was blemished. Pros=For that price I was expecting better from the company, from the description and the pictures. It does not extract a 'wow' from my guests but it does not get chided either - it adds a conservative finish decor to your place - and we sought that. Cons =Major broken pieces and major cracks - see photos. I used gorilla glue to glue the broken pieces and cracks. Bottom line = if you want a clean and conservative finish, go for it - but watch out for broken parts - manufacturer must lower price for the end consumer - for their QC lapse and charge back the shipper for mishaps.. We love this tv cabinet. It wasn't that hard to put together as some other customers have mentioned. We did find a few places when putting on the top, the dowls would not line up with the holes so we had skip using them. The color of the cabinet is a bit darker than the picture, but I know all pieces are unique in color. There were 4 places we had scratches and 1 chip, but instead of sending it back or requesting new pieces, WF adjusted the price for us and made it right. Overall, this is a cool piece of furniture and looks great in our living room up against our WF washable area rug. Looks great, one major flaw. The flaw is so big I was tempted to give 4 stars, but its a great looking piece for an affordable price so I'll let it slide. Pros Solid instructions. Sturdy feeling wood, although the first one I did had damage to the top panel. Wayfair was great in issuing a replacement, although they had to send me a whole new unit instead of just the one broken piece and I had to deal with returning an entire new one just to get that piece. But the biggest pro, and most important one, is that it looks fantastic!! Its sturdy, holds multiple game consoles, has holes for wiring out back, and has a great modern look. Cons One minor flaw is the mechanism to push the doors out isnt great. Sometimes I have to push hard multiple times to get it to eject the door. But it works well enough. The biggest con is in the door assembly. In my photo you'll see the bottom of the shelf is scratched. It didnt come like that it was caused by me. The issue is when you install the doors, you can't tell if they're slightly misaligned until well..you try to shut it. Well guess what, if its not aligned from the factory, it immediately catches and scratches up the bottom as it rubs against it. That damage was from the very first door closing attempt. So my advise is to attempt your first close VERY slowly, and if it catches even a millimeter IMMEDIATELY stop and adjust the hinge. Otherwise you'll do what I did and have permanent damage on the bottom that it rubbed against. Again, ONE mistake and you'll have damage. Luckily this is just for my basement where the lighting is dim, and from a distance its hard to see so I can live with it. But if you have ocd be very very careful when testing and adjusting the doors, cause one single scrape is game over. Most likely the left right screw is what you'll have to adjust. From the factory the right doors were fine but the left scraped until adjusted. Nonetheless, I'll still give a 5 of 5 since it looks great and Wayfair support was great, but hopefully this review helps others not damage their new furniture.. John. Springfield, NJ. Good quality, well made. Really pleased that I only had to put the legs on. Delivered a week before the estimated delivery date which was really helpful. It would be helpful if the colour description could be specific, ie: off white or cream white, which is what I wanted, but photos don't always give you an accurate shade. I notice that other furniture items specify "bright white" which is also helpful. I changed out the door handles. Wasn't thrilled with black hardware on an off white unit. Pretty and nice to have your large tv be more eye level since it is lower. Color is nice. Only thing and why it didn’t get 5 stars is that the doors on front- one has more space between door at top. I guess the way the holes are places. The nice woman that put it together from wayfair pros put in great effort to fix that and it looked mostly level on one side but the left side still had a larger space. Luv the golden doors.
