These dishes were ABSOLUTELY beautiful! I received so many compliments on them. I used them for Christmas and they were the added touch that I needed to make my table look exquisite. However, I had to return the dishes because they scratched so easily. The gold would come off just from handling g the dishes. I tried to convince myself that I could fix the problem and keep the dishes but when I look at the photos on the website, if you looked closely, you could see that those dishes showed some of the gold worn off. My only suggestions for improvement would be to make the cerealsoup bowls a little smaller and to design the pieces so they stack more efficiently for storage. We really like this set. In fact, after buying it, we purchased two more of the exact same set. Another reviewer talked about the cereal bowls being too small, but actually we think they are a perfect portion size, and they fit just right in our dishwasher!
