I like the design. For anyone that has books or dvd's it maybe hard for them to prop up alone without support. Only issues is the packers at the warehouse or manufacture packed it with scuffs in the black paint on multiple parts. I tried to hide them toward the back side. I would send it back for a replacement but Wayfair charges for shipping it back to the price of the item. The carriers beat up the package during transit for sure. I used solid wood boards, and the final result looks high-end and custom-built. One very important thing to note (and not a negative—just something buyers should be aware of) the wooden shelves are NOT included. You will need to purchase or cut your own boards separately. This actually ended up being a positive for me because I was able to select the exact wood tone, thickness, and finish I wanted. However, if you’re expecting an all-in-one kit, keep this in mind before ordering. Once installed, the shelves hold a great amount of weight and are perfect for decor, books, plants, and storage.
