Capel Western Oriental Rug

This Oriental area rug grounds your home with an artful, vintage-inspired layout designed to layer easily with your existing pieces. The polypropylene fibers provide stain resistance across a busy household, making it a great choice to withstand regular foot traffic and everyday wear. Its soft surface introduces a refined layer underfoot without bringing extra clutter to your layout, while a faded look brings immediate character. It also stays looking fresh over time since it's easy to clean with a quick vacuuming or spot-cleaning. We also love how the finished edges provide a clean border that looks beautifully tailored. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

I love this rug in my bathroom! I got the green grass cloth from Wayfair as well!. Joy. Athens, GA. Sun Sep 13 2026

Must-have material and offers a low pile height for easy upkeep. Plus, it stands out with a Southwestern-inspired pattern in hues of red. To keep this piece safely in place.

These rugs arrived a week early and they are spectacular!!! The colors are vivid and exactly as shown. A good sturdy pad is recommended as these higher quality woven rugs will move a bit without a stable pad.. Michele. Midland, TX. Sun Sep 27 2020

This is a hand knotted wool area rug with a traditional allover design in red. Hand knotted means every knot is tied by hand on a loom, with no latex or glue backing, which is why hand knotted rugs last for decades. The wool pile is about 1/2 inch. Sizes in this listing: 6' x 9', 7'6" x 9'6", 7'10" x 10' and 8'10" x 12'. An allover pattern has no central medallion, so it looks right from every side and under furniture in living rooms and dining rooms. Made in India. Care: vacuum regularly without a beater bar, blot spills right away, and rotate the rug every few months for even wear. Professional cleaning is recommended.

Artful geometry for your floors - this Soumak rug is a double-sided flat-weave design with a herringbone texture on both sides. Hand crafted with the finest quality imported wool; patterns and motifs display a mélange of classic Sultan Abad, Mahal and Nomadic design inspirations.

While we are pleased with the rug so far based on unwrapping and first impressions, we have not actually installed it because we wanted to post this within the brief Wayfair comment window. Two aspects of the rug varied slightly from what we expected. The image is generally accurate but the colors are more subdued and the "green" is basically indigo (actually a positive for us). Also, the texture of the wool itself is not particular soft, although suitable even for barefoot bedroom use. UPDATE: Upgrading from 4 to 5 stars. We have installed the rug and and are greatly enjoying it. We noticed the inventory tag says it's "Red/Navy" and 9'9" x 9'9", both more accurate descriptions than what we saw on the Wayfair site (Kelly Green and 10' x 10').. Anonymous. Maryland. The Serapi Collection reinterprets traditional tribal geometric design through a refined palette. Each rug is hand-knotted from hand-spun lamb’s wool, creating a soft underfoot feel. Natural variation in the yarn introduces depth and tonal variation, while vegetable-based dyes produce a warm, earth-toned palette. A patina gives each piece the appearance of an aged Serapi rug. Designed for traditional and transitional interiors.
