It was finally time to switch out my heavy quilt for my new lighter bedspread. I searched high and low for a split corner bedspread with longer sides and came across this one. It needed to be open to allow for the posters and legs an I wasn’t certain if the corners unbuttoned but, fortunately, they did. It’s perfect and a nice weight with a matching pillow and shams with buttons. I bought two cream throw pillows on this site and matching buttoned linen euro shams elsewhere and I think it looks great. I did wash everything before using and it all washed up great. i am very picky with what I put on my bed, I am a texture person. I love soft textures but love the look of linen, which can be a hard combo sometimes. this bedding is not stiff at all, very soft to touch and has no tough spots. the green is absolutely perfect for my neutral styled home, it is the perfect shade of olive green. some greens are too deep or too rich in color and they can contrast other colors too much, this shade is so universal because it is perfectly earth toned.
