The desk arrived with no broken pieces, so a good start. All pieces and hardware were labeled per the instructions. I had no issues putting it together in an afternoon with my husband. The only annoyance being switching up the size of the allen wrench screws a few times. I gave this desk 4 stars because while it is very spacious and has a great amount of storage, it is mostly made of mdf. You had to be careful putting in screws to not leave cracks. Due to this, I am unsure of the longevity of this piece. I only intend to use it for crafting and as a vanity space, so there shouldn’t be too much wear on it. The LEDs that come with are kind of trash. They stopped sticking the day of install. Ordered 2 at once. One arrived from New Jersey (?) in perfect condition, but the second shipped from TX never arrived. Customer service has been perfectly helpful for all FIVE (?) calls. A replacement (from TX) was ordered and arrived not boxed with corner protectors/top and bottom cardboard pieces completely damaged and unusable. A second replacement came (from TX) and arrived in even worse condition (both tops had screws missing and screw holes stripped so won't stay on with screws provided, cracks on all sides, dents, etc.). I asked for a return label so whomever can inspect and see how badly damaged they are coming from TX. Third replacement sent from New Jersey or maybe Virginia- I cannot remember. Arrived in perfect condition like the first did. Customer service could not be better, but I'd call to order this piece with customer service and beg that it comes NOT from Texas. Love the two working ones and recommend 100%... again, if not arriving from Texas! I'm sharing damaged photos of last one sent, but not of two we kept, b/c they fit description perfectly.. Christina. Build - Great quality, looks really nice. Straightforward instructions. I have assembled a few furniture pieces before, but still took 6-8 hours. Having driver bits for H3.0, PH2 and PH3 would be very helpful to speed up the build. Most steps can be completed by 1 person, but a few steps will need 2nd person, and eventual moving of the whole piece into the corner needed 3 persons (need to keep space behind the furniture during the build to screw things from the back). Large Office Desk with Drawers & Power Outlets

Great desk for the price! This desk has a large work area, 2 filing drawers and ample storage space. The main work area is 32 inches wide which easily accommodates an extra very large monitor, laptop, keyboard, note pads and work binders. I did not have any issues putting the desk together, but there are 46 pieces, a metal frame, and file drawer mechanisms, so I can see why some people may have trouble. There's a couple of places on the instruction drawings that you really have to pay attention to the tiniest of details (with a magnifying glass) in the pictures or you will install parts upside-down if not careful. Installation did take me about 8-9 hours, but I put this desk together by myself and had to get creative balancing pieces and parts as my 'helping hands' a few times. As a 72-year-old woman, I was a little concerned when I realized there was a metal frame involved for the main desk area, but it was lightweight and not an issue at all. There's a LOT of bolts and screws, so a drill would be helpful. However, if using a drill, you need to be very aware that the material is a laminated product and you will chip the desk if too aggressive. I took my time and used a ratcheting screwdriver and did not have any problems. The desk looks professional, has good color and seems very sturdy. I do suggest using two people if you want to move the desk around the room in order to keep from stressing/twisting the longer side joints.
