There was no review yet for this item, but I decided to buy anyway because I needed an adjustable standing desk and already had a beautiful solid cherry wood top that I had bought at a local wood shop to go on it. WOW! This desk is strong, the metal is sleek and polished, the mechanism runs smoothly, it is very easy to put together, and the instructions are very clear with color pictures. I still have to see how long the lift mechanism will work. Controller is to be attached under the table with screws provided, as well as the electric wires with the cable clips provided to this effect. Excellent product! I bought many items from Wayfair in the past and have always been very pleased with the quality of the products! This time again. Exactly as described, easy to put together (my kids did it together). Very solid. Very heavy (20kg or 45lb), which makes it hard to move on our carpet. Comes with caster wheels and sliders in case you don't want the casters. The height range given (29"-42") is with casters; it's lower by about 2.5" if you don't install the casters. Crank action is very smooth and I like that the crank can be removed so kids can't play with it. Great addition to a family room that is acting as a home office and a classroom during Covid.. Joanna.
