It's nice, but is considerably larger than I thought it would be. Fortunately the table I wanted to put it on accommodates it just fine. Also, I am not sure I think it is as pretty as the picture is. But, eh, it's fine. My main thing with it is that the shade is not as oatmeal colored as it is in the picture. It's kinda darker as it has some dark, maybe blackish, thread woven into it. I like the lamps although not my first choice but the ones I wanted were back ordered. The shades were not smooth and had crinkles in them even though they were well packed.
