It is well built and solid. Perfect for a room with no closet. Allows lots of hanging space.. Faye. Mon Jul 13 2026

The “rustic” antique black looks nice, but due to the ROUGH texture of the wood I think it will be extremely hard to dust. The dust clothe will catch in the wood. For the cost, I think I should have kept looking. I also believe that photos of the lower section should have been available to view. I do “like” the armoire, but I don’t “love” it. I guess it will do the job. I hung coats & jackets from the clothes rod and beneath the shelf I installed I put my capris. I used the other shelf in the lower section and placed my jeans in there. It’s very roomy. Note, it states there are 3 shelves and there were only 2 actual shelves in the unit. I guess if you placed 2 shelves in the upper section that you would have 3 separate spaces if you count the bottom of the upper area as the 3rd shelf. Hope picture helps if you’re trying to decide.. Inspired by Charleston's classic coastal charm and rich history, this venerable secretary is finished in the heirloom-quality black cherry dark patina. Accented by hand painting on the drop-front lid, the secretary features a robust leather writing insert, 3 cubbies for storage, and 3 small drawers behind the drop-front, along with 3 lower drawers with self-closing drawer guides and cherry-colored interiors—pewter-colored pulls.

Feels like an antique one might purchase in Charleston. Very heavy. Had it in a bedroom and it worked as a desk and side table next to a bed. Now, it sits by the door for keys and mail as we enter the house. It works beautifully in that new spot as well.. M. Florida. Sun Aug 23 2026

The armoire is solid wood which is great for the price. It is solid ,looks nice, and the assembly instructions were easy to understand. However the doors did not align properly and the center strip that covers the gap between the two middle doors was way out of alignment. We were able to adjust he doors and center piece enough to make it look ok but there are still small gaps between the doors towards the bottom of the armoire. It needed a lot of extra work to mostly close the gaps.. Melissa. Perrineville, NJ. Tue Aug 25 2026
