It was time to replace a 20 year old granite sink. We had looked for a couple of months and nothing had stood out. This sink caught plenty of attention due to two things…first, the design and second, the basket strainers in the drains. The larger side is the perfect size for cleaning our pots, pans, and skillets (we cook a lot). The smaller side is ideal for washing vegetables or fruits. If you just need to rinse off any dishes, a standard drainer will set right down in the larger side (or at least the one we have does). A standard dishpan will fit in there too! Installation is fairly easy if you’re familiar with basic home repair and plumbing. I have to do some tile repair, so mine is a little more in-depth. This sink is a wonderful choice for any situation. I highly recommend this one. It’s stylish, practical, and looks absolutely amazing! The metal finish is a beautiful addition to any kitchen decor! The on-line purchasing process was amazingly fast and easy. The shipping experience was also fantastic, the package arrived w/in the expected window and was received in perfect condition. We had the sink professionally installed as the install required some granite cutting and grinding for a proper fit. The finished product is just what we were looking for, a clean modern look. The sink surface is easily cleaned with warm soap and water. To prevent scratches, we purchased two silicon bottom mats and they actually look pretty good. We did replace the included drain strainers as they looked cheap and distracted from the otherwise beautiful appearance of the Ruvati Sink.
