This unit has 11” deep shelves, not as 9.5” described. It is identical to another I purchased elsewhere at a lower price, but I will just keep it as it will work okay in my space. It is a pretty nice unit, but not easy to put together because it uses “cam locks” which I find hard to get to work well. The finish is beautiful, the curved arch detail very nice, so overall if you get everything tight it is a nice unit. The top is wood, the rest very soft manufactured wood.. Margaret. Morristown, NJ. I love this piece. PROs: It's one of my favorite colors. It matches well in my apartment. It came in one piece, so I didn't have to build it. CONs: there is no shelf for the top basket to sit on. It's just a little ledge. The top basket doesn't sit evenly on the ledges,so it's always crooked. It bothers me every time I look at it.. Abigail. Marina Del Rey, CA. Thu Dec 10 2015
