This floor mattress is pretty comfortable considering it is only 4 and on the floor. It did not come shrink wrapped, but it seemed way too flat at first I let it air out before making a review. At first, it was only 2 inches, but after a few days out of the plastic wrapping it came in, it is decidedly 4. I guess it was flattened during packaging. I like the light colored wood. Figuring out the pattern was a bit tricky. Things went well until the last couple of squares. The pattern was off and the tabs had a straight edge rather than rounded so they did not go together as nicely as the other packages. I need to order a few more packages and I am hoping the ones that are not a perfect fit can be hidden under a chair or couch.
