This is a heavy, well-made chair. The poly boards feel thick, the frame does not flex, and it sits firmly once it is together. The recline is comfortable and the seat is generous. It is also much larger than I expected from the listing photos, so measure your space before you buy. I have assembled several of these poly Adirondack-style chairs. These were the worst instructions I have used. You essentially get four low-quality drawings. I had to figure most of it out myself. The one useful part is that you can usually tell which screws belong on each step. If you have put a lot of these together, you will get through it. If this is your first one, expect some frustration. I am docking a star for the hardware finish. Some screw heads are recessed many are not. The leftover silver screws stand out against the navy boards. Recessing the rest and adding caps, or using paintedcolor-matched screws, would be a cheap fix and would make the chair look finished instead of half-assembled. These are nice chairs, look good and are sturdy. If you plan to keep them in the shade or in a covered porch or patio then you should be fine. It can take a little water and sun exposure from time to time, but as long as its not exposed to the elements 24/7, it should be fine. We planned to keep this out in the yard and made the mistake of choosing these wooden chairs instead of HDPE. We live in Florida, and get extreme sun and also very heavy and frequent rain.
