Suggestions include a narrow channel underneath the base to accommodate and hide the relatively thin power cable in certain positions. I purchased 2 of these lights for the nightstands in our bedroom. They are of very high quality and are exactly what we were looking for. We love the brightness and color temperature settings, as we use them for reading. The big selling point for us was the 26.5" long gooseneck arm. It is long enough to reach over the reading material and can be twisted into any position. Even when fully extended, the arm does not tip the light over due to the weighted base. We would buy these again if another need arose. Keep up the quality products Wayfair!. Mary. Kent, OH. Thu Oct 26 2023
