[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a very heavy weighted knife, but feels good in your hand. Really sharp, so cutting through most things is simple. I would recommend it anyone!. Jmerritt72_5184. Mon Dec 02 2024

Great knives. Super sharp. Come with a sharpener for all knives except steak knives that are serrated.. Elizabeth. Chesterfield, VA. Sat Oct 03 2026

High-carbon CR17 stainless steel blade. To boost its sturdiness, the steel contains 0.6-0.75 carbon. This makes it two times as hard as other knives in its class, as they contain about 0.3% carbon. Beautiful pattern: the special waved pattern blade is particularly striking (CR17 stainless steel kitchen knives, not real Damascus). Your investment is fully guaranteed. We offer a lifetime warranty and return policy. Ultra-sharp edge: it features an HRC (Rockwell hardness scale) of 57-58, which makes it among the toughest knives in its class. The thickness of this kitchen knife is 2.5mm. Ergonomically shaped handle: The blade of this chef knife is seamlessly integrated with the soft and comfortable Pakkawood handle, creating a perfect grip. The ergonomic shape strikes the right balance between the handle and the thin blade, ensuring ease of movement.

They’re ok. I feel like for the quality of the cut, the blades wouldn’t rust in water.. Julia. Melbourne, FL. Wed Oct 14 2026

Each elegant Miyabi Koh knife is crafted in Seki, Japan. There, Miyabi artisans merge rich Japanese tradition with expert German engineering and state-of-the-art steel to produce these ultimate kitchen knives. Advanced FC61 fine carbide stainless steel - 61 hardness on the Rockwell scale - provides unsurpassed corrosion and chip resistance. This cutting-edge steel ensures the hand-honed blades retain their impressive sharpness for a long time. Thanks to an innovative, ice-hardened process, the Friodurx2 blades offer remarkable durability, sharpness, and cutting performance. The stunning blades are finished with a true katana edge, an homage to the samurai swords made in Seki centuries ago, and feature an embossed Miyabi logo. Stylishly stamped with a silver mosaic pin, the exquisite octagon-shaped handle feels as good as it looks. The Pakkawood handle supports both Western chopping and Asian rocking cuts - experience ergonomic perfection with each slice.

Beautiful knife hits well above its price point. I have been owning and using Japanese knives in professional kitchens for the better part of 3 decades and this knife performs as well or better than knives from misono, Masahiro and others and costs far less. It’s also much more user friendly, sharpened on both sides, stainless, and a more traditional shape- if that works for you. At 109 bucks it’s a steal. Get one!. Sean Conroy. Colorado Springs.
