Anji Mountain Contemporary Rug

This area rug brings a subtly textured foundation and low-profile feel to your space. It’s machine-woven from polypropylene, making it ideal for handling heavy foot traffic in busy areas. The low pile height rests flat against the ground, allowing doors to glide open and closed without catching. Designed with a neutral motif, it blends easily across a variety of decor styles. Plus, it integrates smooth synthetic fibers to streamline daily upkeep throughout your home. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

Ordered the 5x7, been 3 months and it’s to be expected. Lays flat, no wrinkles. Came delivered on a roll too. Color is nice - subtle smoky blue and gold undertones. Not overpowering and easy to match. . Vacuums excellent! No hard pulling on the vacuum (Dyson).. Jane. TX. Wed Oct 21 2026

Lay a modern foundation in your living room or hallway with this area rug. Its abstract horizontal stripe pattern shows off a mix of neutral tones like gray, tan, and white, creating a contemporary look to work with your decor. It is machine-woven from polypropylene, and it features a low pile that makes it easy to place in high-traffic rooms, where it holds up against everyday use. This piece is also stain-resistant, so it is a great fit in homes with kids and pets. We also love that this rug is specifically designed for use indoors to help anchor your space.

Love it! It matches the decor in my guest bedroom perfectly. Maxine. US. Mon Jun 22 2026

Add vintage charm to any room with this machine-washable rug. Distressed pattern, soft low-pile, and non-slip backing. Easy care — just toss it in the washer. Great for living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways.

Love our new area rug SO MUCH! It is absolute perfection! We have been working for a couple of months now to get our new hardwoods installed, so I have been trying to get our photos taken despite the mess. (I have one here where we have just yesterday gotten the new rug on the new flooring, but please forgive that we still have a ways to go to get everything perfect again). Anyway, the rug. Oh my goodness - it is beautiful! As you can see, initially we laid it on top of our carpet, so it didn’t lay quite perfectly; but on our new hardwoods, it is wonderful! I was a tad worried about the fold marks showing too (I am not a fan of “folded rugs” as opposed to rolled), but the folds also seem to be relaxing. Thankfully. The rug overall really is very beautiful. We chose the beige/brown and I could not be more pleased with the look, or how well it goes with our new floors! It has the perfect combination of creams, ivory, sand colors, browns, even some greys, and touches of darker charcoal colors throughout. The rug is insanely soft on your bare feet, and the vintage-looking or distressed design is so well done. We just love it! Another reviewer felt the design looked “digital”, but ours does not come across as digital at all - rather, it has a very charming, sophisticated look to it that we feel is the perfect addition to our new floors! If you like the design and the colors in this area rug, it comes as a highly recommended must have! We are so pleased we with our order and think you will be too! (Reviewed 18 OCTOBER 2026). Presley. Really good quality! I appreciate that this chairmat doesn’t have the hard pokey plastic like most chair mats have. This is easy to walk on and care for. Very durable and vacuums very easily. I would highly recommend this chair mat instead of the clear ones that are plastic.. Al. Denver, CO. Mon Aug 31 2026

This low-profile area rug blends a striped geometric design with a neutral palette to seamlessly complement your existing decor. A high-low texture introduces tactile dimension across the surface, giving the flat woven pile a distinctive feel underfoot. Crafted from a blend of polyester and polypropylene, it's designed to withstand daily wear while resisting stains and fading over time, making it an ideal choice for high-traffic areas. The purposeful distressing softens the overall pattern for a relaxed, lived-in aesthetic. It also simplifies your cleaning routine since it only requires regular vacuuming and quick spot cleaning.

Highly engineered and patented, this rugged chairmat is a thoughtful curation, bringing the utility of both, chair mat and rug, together. Made using renewable materials, you get a diverse collection of patterns to choose from. Consisting of three layers of functionality, it’s distinguished from conventional chair mats. The intricately woven top layer offers effortless roll-ability for chair casters. The middle layer is made using PVC that provides robust support and durability whilst the anti-skid bottom layer keeps it securely in place, without leaving any marks.

My rolling office chair damaged my Brazilian cherry hardwood floors. So I knew it was time to buy a chair mat. My sister has an Anji Mountain chair mat and recommended the brand. I initially didn’t want to pay that much so I ordered a $30 mat from another retailer, which I returned. Compared to this Anji Mountain rug pad, the $30 gray and white mat was flimsy and arrived with many more creases from where it was folded. Plus, the color didn't work in my space. This Anji Mountain rug pad is folded once and quite sturdy. My chair easily rolls over it. My desk is visible from my dining and living rooms. I searched hard for a beige or cream rug pad that would complement the colors in my living room but couldn’t find anything that exactly matched my criteria. Wayfair customer service searched for me too and offered up several suggestions, including this one. This one is gray but the lighter stripes are greige, so it appears warmer. The pattern is geometric, modern, and sophisticated. It has a decidedly Japandi quality, which I find attractive.. Kristin. Seattle. Tue Jun 02 2026

Great desk chair non slip rug. Nice appealing design and colors. The rug is well made and does not slip at all on the floor. It’s a good thickness too, so you don’t roll off a big dip if you roll off of it. Would recommend!. Anonymous. US. Fri Aug 07 2026

This area rug grounds your space with an abstract motif and cushiony texture underfoot. It's tufted from pure wool to give your floors a thick, substantial feel that stands up to daily routines. This mat is extra thick and stays in place well. It's great for underneath my office chair since there is no way that it could clump up and get caught. It's a great size for rolling around in my chair. It is very rigid, so it was challenging getting it underneath my desk.. Karen. Boston, MA. Thu Jul 23 2026

This area rug anchors your home with an industrial look that grounds any open layout. Synthetic polyester fibers offer built-in stain resistance, making it an ideal choice to handle standard foot traffic across your floors. The abstract patterning mimics weathered textures, adding a subtle artistic layer to your surface without standing out too much. Its low profile prevents catching on moving doors while staying simple to vacuum. Plus, the lack of backing means you can easily pair it with your choice of underlayment. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

The 1/2" x 40" x 54" chair mat, for carpet works pretty well. It stays put which is really nice. My chair doesn't sink into it making it hard to roll after sitting in it for a while and it looks pretty nice, too. I do wish it was another four to six inches wider, but the 54" length is good for my desk. For my purpose a mat that was 46" x 60" would be perfect. The material on the top side, does show where the mat folds in the middle. Optimally this would not show, but it's a pretty minor complaint.. Albert. Sparks, NV. Tue Aug 18 2026

This indoor area rug sets a bold, bright foundation on your floors with its abstract, colorful pattern. Its offset stripes evoke an artistic set of paint strokes in hues ranging from beige and red to aqua and mustard. Machine-woven from stain-resistant polypropylene, this rug's 0.45" pile provides ample cushioning underfoot in living rooms, bedrooms, and entryways. To keep it from shifting underfoot, we recommend pairing it with a rug pad, which is sold separately.

Buying this product has been nothing short of a purchase nightmare. Wayfair is operating as the middleman and the product is dropshipped directly from the manufacturer. I had to return this. Not one, not two but three times because wayfair's dimensions in thickness did not match the actual item at the manufacturer (Anji Mt). Eventually with managerial help I basically ordered the "wrong item" (the thinner one that weighs more and costs more than the thicker one which is backwards and opposite of the manufacturer's on website where you can buy these separately) and sure enough finally the fourth time, received the sort of correct rug'd mat. The 0.5" thick one on Wayfair site is actually less than a quarter inch thick. The 0.25" thick one is the correct one for use over carpet and while it's supposed to be a 0.5" thickness (when laid Flat, NOT when folded in half), It actually measures to 5/16"-3/8" in literal thickness. When folded in half the product should be a full inch thick but is nowhere near that. What's also strange is the packaging is marked as 33 lb by FedEx but the mat when Wade is just over 22 lb. The box used is wafer thin and weighs at most 1.5lbs. It's actually a flimsy cardboard box to the point where I had to reinforce the taping top and bottom every time I returned one, even though it was the thinner one weighing around 10 lbs. Ultimately, between the manufacturer advertising a thickness that isn't reality and treating it almost like it's nominal wood measurements from a lumber yard instead of actual measurements of an office chair mat, and Wayfair having the description and weights incorrect, which even FedEx was deceived into thinking is much heavier than they are I guess based on the label (?) the entire purchase took over a month to complete and get the correct item and even then the item isn't as advertised. Time will tell if it can hold up over medium pile brand new plush carpet that was installed a month ago... Or not, but I hope for the best because there isn't really a better solution besides glass which I'd like to avoid. In theory, Wayfair may soon fix the dimensions/pricing so this is at least clearer to the buyer but the thicker one has a "D" at the end of the product code sticker on the lower left corner of the box. The other issue is the cardboard box itself which is covered in branding. Only mentions the length and width but not the thickness! It gives a squared measurement instead of a cubed one, so from the cardboard box you can't tell until you weigh it or open it which one you get!! The "D" is the only thing that separates one from the other (see my pics comparing the stickers on the boxes). Anyway I hope this helps. Somebody else make a very informed purchase decision as these are not cheap office mats. I probably wouldn't recommend buying until the dimensions and pricing are all matching the right product as this situation has wasted a lot of my time, literally hours dealing with Wayfair and returns and customer service and waiting for the FedEx guy, burning up my own labels, etc etc. Hopefully It ultimately ends up being a good mat for the Long haul..
