Its so hard to find bright solar lights that illuminate a wide area. I find these lights super bright and holds a charge for a long time. I like that it comes with a remote to turn on and off, and to adjust the brightness or timer. The light seems solid and im not worried about water damage or anything wearing it down anytime soon. This thing is amazing! I would prefer the option to have a softer yellow tone light in addition to the bright white, but it fits my needs. Needed a light out near the chicken coop/run but too far from nearest electrical feed to run anything permanent. This fits the bill. I have it on the mode where the light stays on low but comes on bright when approached or when it signals motion from a predator. Lights up the area very well for night time feeding/cleaning activities. I will remove the water from base and replace with sand before winter. We are still tweaking where to place these two lights we purchased. Our driveway entrance is darker than dark. These lights focus the light up the trunk of 2 very large spruce trees on either side of the driveway. The solar panel has a long cord which helps them get away from the shadow of the trees. These are very bright & do have hefty stakes to put in the ground. Only drawback is a longer cord option would help when using to light a larger dark space.
