The bed looks good and sturdy. However, we used it for 13 months and then it the frame suddenly snapped and broke. We heard the thud while we were laying in bed and it just collapsed. We dont have kids that jump in the bed or use it inappropriately. We called Wayfair and they refused to repair or replace it since it was just after the 1 year warranty. We offered to pay for replacement parts but they refused that too and said we will have to buy the whole bed again and instructed to buy their extended warranty next time. This is not a cheap be - it was well over 2,000 when we bought it so we should reasonably expect it to last several years.. Fenil. Liberty Township, Ohio. Sun Sep 06 2026

This low-profile bed frame delivers the effortless bohemianism of a mattress on the floor without any of the social censure. It floats on a recessed plinth base, framed by wide sideboards that flow into two sleek bedside tables. A padded headboard + finished back give you lots of placement options.

The bed frame feels solid and looks exactly like the pictures. Installation was straightforward and can easily be done by one person. One thing to keep in mind is that if you have a high or thick mattress, it may make the overall look feel a bit awkward and take away from the Japandi style. We ended up removing the slats to lower the mattress and improve the overall appearance, which worked much better for us.. Anonymous. Fri Sep 25 2026

The bed is definitely all hard wood. It’s not the type of hardwood you could sand and refinish in the future. It also arrived without any broken pieces. It’s a pretty bed, but we are giving it a 45 because we wanted something subtle. The bed is kind of big and the headboard is massive. The advertisement has a large mattress and the decorative pillows hide just how big it is. I can’t imagine what kind of room this would fit in. We also wish it was held together with more hardware.. Amy. Philadelphia, PA. Mon Mar 02 2020

The Artless SQB bed is our best design of them all, we do pick favorites, and this bed is it. The structural purity and the detailing make the bed as functional as it is beautiful, and it will last a lifetime. May the images speak for themselves.

It is a beautiful solid piece of furniture. It will last a long time. I paid to have it assembled, and one person did the job. It takes about 12 weeks to get delivered. I waited until it went on sale during Way Day and then signed up to receive marketing emails from Wayfair to get an additional 10 percent off. I was able to purchase it for a little more than $8,300. I shopped around and I haven't seen it below that price. It's worth every penny.. David P. Phoenix. Mon Jul 24 2023
