We received Carlo Mazzeri Salad Serving Bowl as a wedding present in 1976. We still use it every week and it looks brand new. We love the timeless style and it is the perfect size for us. Our niece was the first in her generation to get married, we purchased this bowl for her and told her about our receiving it as a wedding present 38 years ago. We also purchased the 'Dressed' Salad set to go with the bowl. We were not aware of the pattern on the back side of the two pieces and weren't sure that we liked it when we received them. However, we think they are a nice match to the bowl.. Gary. Ann Arbor, MI. Tue Sep 23 2014

Following the typical minimalist approach that features in all Jasper Morrison's work, this design is an attempt to reduce the "cutlery-object" to its barest essence, its purest and most customary form and what might tentatively be called its definitive form, and deliberately stripped of all stylistic value and - perhaps precisely because of this - recognizable as Morrison's work.

this is a nice product- does the job and good weight. Leslie. Grosse Pointe Park, MI. Thu Dec 31 2015

The table set “Ovale” was designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. " The “Ovale” collection strives to be original, but it also wants to be rustic and traditional. We set out in pursuit of delicate expression. This composition speaks about everyday life, about breakfast, lunch, and about everyone getting together for dinner. There is a desire for simplicity".

I've never purchased new flatware, always had some hand-me-downs which was just fine because it never mattered. But I saw these, loved the look and purchased them. Silly me thought I was getting 5 place settings but I actually got 5 pieces. Doesn't matter, they are sleek and pretty and I get to use them and the rest of the family can use the others.. Nancy. Following his interest in tradition and good food, Virgil Abloh designed Conversational Objects as "toolsets for the dining table". This set, produced in matt-finish stainless steel, is paired with a cutlery holder, with a similarly opaque finish to resemble a threaded bolt.

The Dry collection was Alessi's only model of cutlery. Despite the grim prospects forwarded by those in the sector, the collection proves that its innovative shape and resolute style, along with extreme manageability and an excellent finish, can weather the storm. Over the years, the Dry model has opened up the road for us and various other cutlery sets, though it has always remained well up among the leaders.

Love it! Elegant and smart. Glossy finish. Would recommend.. Gina. Syosset, NY. Sun Jan 03 2021

For Achille Castiglioni objects had to fulfill two essential requirements: They should offer practical solutions to the small problems arising while "being at the table," possibly with intelligent functional innovation, and they should also satisfy the public's taste, for example, for the finish of metal.

With the Conversational Objects 4-piece flatware set, made in 18/10 matt-finish stainless steel, Virgil Abloh brings his creativity to the dining table. Conversational Objects, unveiled at the 2023 Milan Design Week, celebrates flatware as a design instrument, while embodying the designer's loyalty to tradition and good cuisine, symbolized by a convivial meal.

A selection of small household objects made with a particularly refined metal-working process and an ironic and detailed exploration of functional objects that play a minor role in the houseware.

Sharp, yet with a touch of sensitivity and elegance. Linear, yet with an organic quality of plants. We intend to shift our familiar sensations with chopsticks onto cutlery.

Great spoon, good quality, nice finish. I chose the Alessi Mu design because of the number of complimentary products offered in the set. They aren't stocked, so there was some wait time. Plan ahead, these were worth the wait!. Christine. Short Hills, NJ. Sun Jun 22 2014
